Can’t agree with you more!! Get it right or don’t do it! Your knowledge of Bali is astounding and humbling…long live fastidiousness and the upholding of truth. Don’t let’s let history and culture go the way of everything else in Bali since the mass bule invasion ….all neat and cute.
I liked the film but I was glad to read your constructive and helpful comments. I hope they are listened to and noted. They are lucky to be given such advice!
Keep waving that flag for truth, justice and the Balinese way!!

"Overly fastidious" !! These lightweights are lucky to have a free range expert ready to weigh in!! You can't be overly fastidious with history and Bali 's culture, ya dingbat!! Call something "Rites for Peace" and prepare for war!! And Miss Kemp's so unfastidious that she can't get past a few typos!!

What is this " had the wit not to rely on technology"? Like standing there in the gutter at the hideous Century 21 telling the fops what they got wrong? I did that ......and their eyes glazed over...coz like most of Bali 's pseudo intellectuals / pseudo film-makers/pseudo anthropologists these days...they are not really truth warriors!!!
